“The ocean does not apologize for its depth and the mountains do not seek forgiveness for the space they take and so, neither shall I.”

BECCA LEE

I know what it’s like -
to feel both too much
& not enough.

I’ve always been a sensitive human, but growing up, those around me didn’t know how to care for or be with my sensitivity. And so I learnt that my emotions were ‘wrong’. I learnt that to be loved I had to be a ‘good girl’ - obedient, conforming, pleasing, quiet.

I got very good at hiding myself - my bigness, my darkness, my desires, my magic… Over time, I forgot who I was altogether.

I lived many years like this, estranged from my own body and intuition, gaslighting myself into accepting toxic relationships and situations. This eventually led me to a pretty dark place.

My Story

It was somatic healing that brought me home to my authentic self.

One of many pivotal moments in my healing journey was one New Year, when it hit me that all the talk therapy and vision-boarding in the world wouldn’t change my life until I remembered who I was. What I needed was a Reunion with myself, a Re-membering.

And so, through yoga, Somatic Experiencing, and IFS, I began to recover the parts of myself that I had shamed, disowned, and forgotten. I began to the remember the exuberant, tender, deeply feeling, fiercely loving girl within me.

Becoming Her again has been the most incredible journey.

I became a therapist because I don’t want anyone to feel as alone as I did in my darkest moments.

In the words of Kate Bowler, “there is no cure for being human.”

But we get to do it together.

Healing happens when all our parts are lovingly witnessed by another. When we feel safe enough to open our hearts and feel it all - the messy and the magical, the gut-wrenching and the heartwarming, the excruciating and the exquisite.

My hope for you is that you will keep some room in your heart for the unimaginable. Your pain can be a beautiful portal into a life full of light, love, joy, self-trust, and freedom.

I am beyond grateful to the humans who have entrusted me with their hearts, and allowed me to walk alongside them on this magical journey of healing. I would be honored to walk with you too.

life

when i’m not with my beloved clients, you can find me…

Adventuring to the mountains or ocean… loving on my fur-children (I love animals!)… solo hiking… playing outdoors and going for long walks… volunteering at the local animal shelter… practicing yoga… wandering around the local plant nursery… in solitude (I see you fellow HSPs, Introverts, and Empaths)… diving deeper in understanding myself, others, human existence, and beyond…
